Over many happy-chappy years I have attended & photographed numerous Drum'n'Bass events in Manchester. Back in the day I went down Oldham St. to Eardrum @ Dry Bar, Transmission @ Kaleida, or Darkhouse @ PSV deep in Hulme badlands as a (sometimes) paying punter. Then, beginning at Planet K with the seminal Spellbound... I worked irregularly for Knowledge (k-mag) & Atmosphere (ATM) Magazine; witnessed the birth of a many-tentacled monster Metropolis, journeyed most-merrily on the good ship Hit-&-Run, and treasured most excellent BOTW Soul:ution nightsNOW every monthly Soul:ution in the bar @ Band-On-The-Wall, albakerphotography will be reaching back into the Archive to show you 'A SOUL:UTION Selection': Images ancient & recent from both before & after this historic venues resurrection.
