Manchester institution, record shop & licensing label Fat City Records had moved their original stall in Afflecks Palace to better shop premises on Oldham Street, (would move offices eventually from the cramped confines of Tib St. too) & then moved their monthly club-&-film-night Counter Culture from its' original home (only a couple of buildings in-between shop & venue) at Night-&-Day Cafe, to a little further up Oldham St. to the larger, newly opened Planet K club & I made the switch from being a pissed punter to a more (errrr well almost all the time) focussed photographer!
I blagged my way in to see the Scratch Perverts debut in MCR! Bringing the recently-wrestled DMC World Mixing Championship crown back to the UK... DJs Prime Cuts + Tony Vegas + First Rate
