As part of the very first Futuresonic festival Fat City Recordings Present... All Fingers & Thumbs @ Contact, an evening of multiple turntable dexterity
Performing (hmmmmm?) with unique 3-arm 2-direction decks (no lie!!) Janek Schaefer, (All a bit beardy-chin-strokey if you ask me, I went to the bar for most of it). He is then joined by most-recent addition to DJ-team champions the Scratch Perverts, DJ Plus One!!
A live performance then follows from Fingathing, comprising 2 ex-members of legendary club-night Eardrums resident band; as well as currently appearing & recording with Rae & Christian (Grand Central); double-bass player Sneaky alongside turntablist maestro Peter Parker
Evening ends with Fingathing, Plus-One & DJ Woody (ITF mixing champion) all heads-down together for a mental scratch-fest! Then a quick hop-skip-&-jump across town to our 2nd Fat City instalment of the night, Counter Culture @ Planet K with DJ As-If, Roots Manuva & the Aboriginals!!
